We work with pump trucks and conveyors along with our Trimble total station 3D systems to aid in layout and allowing us to use our laser screed where ever possible. Laborer Within the Laborers position in Flatwork one would be preparing job sites, raking behind the laser screed, hand finishing, and assisting the foreman. In the laborers position for Foundations one would be setting the forms/walls, preparing job sites, and assisting the foreman. In this role one may operate small hand tools. Finisher 1 An entry level finisher will have knowledge of forming, placement and finishing. Candidates need to be proficient in hand finishing, brooming, working edges, operating on sliders, forming, saw cutting and sealing. The finisher will also have the knowledge to operate bump cutters, check roads and floats. Must also be familiar with steel forms and wood forming.
Finisher 2 Candidates must be proficient on a walk behind trowel and edge machines. This position requires substantial experience in saw cutting, sealing and brooming exterior concrete. Must be knowledgeable on the process of finishing floors. Must be self-sufficient in exterior broomed paving. Candidates must also have experience with setting grades and using a laser transit.
Finisher 3 This position requires substantial experience in operating ride-on power trowels, panning slabs and finishing commercial floors. ACI certified commercial flatwork finishers. Candidates should be knowledgeable and self-sufficient in all aspects of interior and exterior concrete.
Lead Finisher recognition: The ability to coordinate the finishing crew, be a problem solver and possess the ambition to strive for the best possible product Be familiar with the entire finish and placement process. Must have a valid driver’s license
Crew Lead The ability to manage and lead a crew. Have substantial experience in all aspects of the concrete industry. Implement direct orders from a foreman and work hand in hand with crew foreman to complete jobs. Have the ability to work independently when needed. Ability to interpret blueprints.
Foreman Candidate must have the ability to coordinate an entire project, be a problem solver and possess the ambition to strive for the best possible product. Must have the ability to read blueprints and understand the process from start to finish. Foreman must also have the ability to run trowel machines and finish floors. Candidates must be proficient in running a laser transit, setting grades and layout jobs from start to finish. Candidates must be skilled in reading blueprints.
Pump Operator Candidates must have CDL vehicle operating experience. In this position candidates will be operating heavy equipment and pump trucks. CDL required. In this position the operator would be operating 2018 equipment or newer.
Laser Screed Operator Have extensive background in running laser screeds. Must be able to set-up pours, operate the laser screed and maintain the equipment. Candidates must be proficient in setting up and operating a transit. CDL required
Saw Cut Operator 2 CDL and clean MVR required. Must be able to operate heavy equipment and CDL vehicles. Duties include operating skid steers, early entry saws and operating laser grader. Candidate should be proficient in running a transit and fine grading.
Saw Cut Operator 1 Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. Duties of this position include: Operating skid steers, soff cut saws, and telehandlers. Participate in the placement of rebar and application of sealers and curing compounds. Candidate must be able to drive professionally to deliver to job sites and have experience driving large vehicles while pulling trailers.
